Coontie Palm (Zamia integrifolia) is a native Florida cycad known for its compact form and fern-like, glossy green leaves. Despite its name, it is not a true palm. This hardy, drought-tolerant plant is ideal for low-maintenance landscapes and works well as a groundcover, border, or specimen plant. It is also a host plant for the Atala butterfly.
